Search

Budget information is stored on the fiscal.wa.gov website in two ways. Accordingly, we provide separate search options for each.

• As Data. This is the information presented in the reports and charts for each budget. It's also displayed in the maps for the capital and transportation budgets.
• As Documents and Website Pages. These include the text on the website pages, PDF versions of the budget bills, proposals, LEAP documents, project lists, and legislative budget notes.

To Search by Data:

Use the buttons at the top of the page for Operating Budget Data, Capital Budget Data, Transportation Budget Data, and Transportation Projects Budget Data. They are set to search your selected key words within those respective areas of the budget data. The searches return information about the session, version, agency, fund, item name, comments, and dollar amount for each item matching your search criteria.

To Search by Documents:

Select the All Budget Documents button at the top of the page. This will search within the available PDF documents for the search terms you enter into the search field. The search returns the document file name with a link to it, the date and description of the document, if available.
