About new legislative districts:
New legislative districts are developed by the Washington State Redistricting Commission (WSRC) as required every 10 years following the national census. The 2023-25 Transportation Budget projects are mapped using the 2022 legislative boundaries as approved by the WSRC. On March 15, 2024, a U.S. District Court ruling created the 2024 legislative district boundaries that replaced the 2022 legislative boundaries. The 2025-27 Transportation Budget projects are mapped using the 2024 legislative boundaries. Legislative districts prior to the 10-year census and court ruling are mapped under Prior Legislative Districts.
